Out of 120 or so cars in the DOT radial class in Orlando I counted 3 that had BFG`s.
The new Mickey T radials were on all the top cars.
The bump was at 8.63 ET when I left, very impressive for a 32 car field.

Hasn't someone been a 7.9 somewhere on the bfg radials-Mybe I just dreamed that! A bump at 8.63 on radials-that is wild isn't it?

Hoosier is making a DOT tire now too.

I got a chance to try out my new M/T radials last night...heading to a cruise night.

I like them better than the BFG's I've had and so far, compare favorably to the Nitto 555R.

They had all sizes available at the show.

Here`s an interesting little tid bit... the smoke from the burn outs from those new M/T radials have a very distinct smell to them.

Almost acrid, very different from anything else must be something in the compound.
Do a good burn out and you`ll see what I mean.

Hill...I don`t know off hand but I can say that it was standing room only.
Nice track layout too, lot`s of southern oaks lining one side, casual atmosphere and...packed.

When I left Sat. night I think the bump was 8.04 with #1 being 7.6xx at 202, my buddy has a sheet with all the times I'll see if I can get a copy and post it, he was in the 10.5 class and ran 7.78 and did not qualify.

That rocks you guys. I guess we did a have a couple PSCA cars make it. I remember now shootin the she-it with some guy at Sac Raceway a few weeks ago. He had a clean orange 68-72 nova that kicked some tail last year in the radial class.

They loved going east for the street scene and said the house was packed everywhere they went!
