How much did those run and where did you get them? I'm going to be putting some on the 70 when I get the motor in, but kind of ruled out electric cutouts because of the cost.

i have heard that cutouts (ones that open and close) tend to leak. Any probs with that?

Yes they leak a little and drip a little condensation but still worth it. I installed them after the H pipe out of sight looks clean. Opens and closes in 4.5 seconds.

They do leak a little, I tried the RTV on the butterfly like the owner asked me to do with no success. It's still better then manually unbolting the cutout twice a week! Here is a shot of how I did mine with the DR. Gas X-pipe:

Qtec just like conroy they have the best product and the cheapest. Jegs has a manual one where you pull a cable but electric is the way to go..They were $295 b/c I had the dumps so all that I bought were the electric cutouts, wiring, and switch.

And yes they do leak a little, but are about the coolest thing Ive got for her!!!!! Nothing like being able to have open heads at a flip of a switch! And I beleive Mccord sells them the cheapest.

How bad is the leak? Is it really noticeable? It's not like an annoying header tick is it?
Thanks!
