Hello all, I am a new user to this site and hoping many of the experienced people out there can help me with this question. I have a 1968 2-door Chevelle that currently has some aftermarket junk buckets mounted inside. I was able to find a nice bench seat for $100 so I would like to put that in place of the buckets (the car was originally a bench from factory). The seat I bought is from a 1970 Chevelle and I'm not sure if it will bolt in place with the factory 1968 floor pans (I was told 1968 - 1972 mounting locations would be the same but I'm not sure). If it can bolt in, I was also wondering if a new seat cover for a 1968 model bench seat will work on the 1970 bench. I would like to keep the 1968 fabric patterns correct to the model year rather than putting on 1970 style seat covers. If anyone can help please let me know and thank you in advance.
p.s. The bench is a split back with headrests in case that helps.
