Just finishing up a project chevelle we have been working at work.
Most of the car was gone when we got it so we had to build it all back up. Inside the quarters we are just finishing make those panels...We started to put the bumper up to the car and were not exactly sure how it hooks onto the frame...Is there brackets or what...If anyone has a 69 chevelle and could send a picutre of how the rear bumper attaches it would highly be apprieciated.

The rear bumper brackets actually attach to the body, not the frame. There is a bracket on each side and one in the middle that connects the bumper to the body. There are threaded plates welded to body sheet metal that the bolts attach to.

Is this correct? I have two sets like this and become confused when some people mention 5 pieces. The only variation I see are for a wagon and El camino which are 5 piece.
