I am looking to buy a 3959038 12 bolt peg leg with 2.73 gears. Axles and spiders are out but axles go with it. No brake stuff. What would be a fair price to offer the fella. Thanks

You are basicly buy a housing that may or may not be bent. I wouldn't go over $200.

$250 seems to be the going price around here for a complete 12 bolt peg legger, When you can find one. jim

Thanks guys. I offered him 250 and we will se where it goes. I have a 12 bolt with 4:10s in there right now but I have a set of 3;31's I want to put in. I am thinking another complete housing with a series 3 posi is the way to go and I can swap them back and forth. Seems easier to me to swap complete rears than swapping gears all the time. In my opinion, this is one area where Ford really did have a better idea.
