Anybody know where to find an aftermarket bench seat. The only place I know of is www.Cerullo.com (http://www.Cerullo.com). They make a bench seat that fits GM A bodies and reclines. They said that for $1700, they would do a leather front bench.

I am not sure if that is a good price because i have nothing to compare it to. :confused:

Thats a little high in my opinion. You can find a used bench seat for about $50 and have a local shop recover it in any material you want for about $250.

If you're planning on doing any cornering with your car, I would avoid a bench seat. I did wheels and tires on mine and I couldn't keep my A$$ in front of the steering wheel. I kept sliding around. My car currently has a recoverd bench. I even went out and picked up a set of stock buckets to rebuild and put in, but will end up with some aftermarket Recaro or Corbeau. I want lateral support!

Another company that does aftermarket bench seats that bolt in to the factory chevelle holes is Glide Engineering. Their seats lean forward, recline and lock in the various positions. They all come with the center armrest but have many options for material, headrests, foam etc.

I know what yer talkin about... This seat from Cerullo has two buckets (only minor) and an elevated center section with a fold down arm rest. I hope that will suffice. I really want the open look of the bench seat. I will probably do more cruisin with it, but only occaisionaly whoop on other sporty's. I'm willing to sacrifice :D
