I just recently installed one.. but the timing mark sticks out about 1/4" past the balancer.. has anyone had this problem? it is the same size as my old timing mark but the cover is 1/4" thick instead of like 1/32" ...

Should i just trim my new mark or maybe just cut in a slot at the 0 mark? any ideas or suggestions? or is there another timing plate i can get that is lower profile to fix this problem?
