I officially have a ls1 chevelle now. Replaced a set of coils and it fired right off.
This is pretty sweet I must say, sounds good, start every time I try, and pulls pretty well even though I haven't been in it all the way yet.
I'm psyched as hell and will get a video up later, I made a walk around with the cutouts open

Thats great to hear! I take it you got that rough running issue figured out? You need to cruise that thing down to stillwater so I can check it out!

Sweet. Glad you figured it out. My motor started some squealing sound the other day and it freaked me out. After listening and replacing my rockers I think it's just a accessory pulley. Replacing those today. It feels great when she's finally going. I have yet to pass 50% throttle, still working on the tune, but it feels like a beast.
Congrats. Post up a vid. I need to make another myself.

I made an open cutout video but the internet here is too slow to load it, youtube gets to 100% then stops doing anything.
The issue ended up being the coil pack harness like I suspected. Swapped them for a set from a friends truck and it fired off first lick.
The tranny is still kinda sloppy and rushing gears so I'm working the bugs out of that today. It makes it feel like a dog on the low end, but once it hits 3500 the power comes on STRONG and pulls till it shifted at 5600 which is lower than I wanted but will do for now I suppose.
The tune Jesse did at wait4me seems great, a little rich on idle, but it does idle at 650-700 warm which is stellar for this cam from what I hear, most set it at 850-900 with this cam.
No leaks, even though we ended up just putting a compression fitting to join my power steering lines with the f bod ones to make one that fits. So far it works like a champ! Steering feels exactly like it did before the swap.
This thing sounds mean as hell loping through the cutouts that are about 2 ft behind the headers.
