I have a 65 Chevelle and about to drop a 350 crate motor in. Any ideas of what I should do with the suspension??
I would love to see some pics of your 64/65 chevelles and what setup you have on your cars!!:D
Thanx for your time!:beers:

depends on what you want to do with it- corner carver, drag racer, stock cruiser, rear jacked up, front jacked up, slammed to the ground...
Fresh upper/lower ball joints, and upper/lower A-Arm bushings are an easy improvement. Also gives you the opportunity to clean and paint the stuff before reassembly.

It's just gonna be a weekend crusier and maybe take it out for the 1/4 mile once every 4 months.
Well, you need to stop...still have original drums up front? :D
If your ball joints and A-Arms are in good shape, dropping a disc kit on ain't too bad. Even redoing your drum wheel cylinders and replacing the rubber lines can make a difference. Does it have a single res. master? Swapping over to dual res. is a safety upgrade, and relatively cheap.
Although most suspensions that are 30 years old + , that have 50K+ miles on, could use new bushings.
What do yours look like?
