Now we got the by pas clear up ..

we where setting up my new roller rocker on the 427 they recomended on this solide Cam 20 on the ex and the int the cam is only a total 598 in lift,, we got the spring check at the head shop
and they did not need major shim work..

But whent we rotated the cam to full lift on the intake there is only 47t of clearence at the spring .. is that to close ? the spring is not touching or binding yet but is 47t inuff ?

that look close to me ?

the valve to piston is more clearence thand that ?

Are you checking total clearence or just the clearence between 1 set of coils?

checking the center coil clearence only

You need to have .060" from full open to coil bind. If there are 4 spaces this means each space needs to be about .015" for a total of .060".
