View Full Version : New shop underway (pics)
matt60j Oct 28th, 08, 12:19 PM My brother-in-law and I just started construction on my new shop. Its 40'x56'x12'. Unfortunately the '65 project has to stay in my garage for another winter. I won't be doing cement or electrical until next summer. Anyway, heres some pics and the official build thread at http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24264(my other favorite website!) Thanks for looking! -MATT

ssal396 Nov 3rd, 08, 8:43 AM Looks great, I'd give almost anything for a shop like that..
matt60j Nov 3rd, 08, 12:45 PM wouldn't a metal roof work better in MI winters? Yeah it probably would but I wanted to side and shingle it to match the house.
Looks good, what are the plans for heat? I am going to partition a section for a lounge that will have in floor heat with running water so it will be heated throughout the winter. The shop area will have a radiant tube heater for instant heat.
Looks great, I'd give almost anything for a shop like that.. I'd give almost anything for your ss 396.:)
Thanks for all the kind words guys. This has been a dream of mine for quite sometime now. -MATT
