Hi, this is my frst question on the boards. My question is this: I want to keep my dual plane manifold, and know that you can either machine the plenum divider or run a spacer. I really don't want to machine the plenum, and would like input from anyone who has run a spacer on a dual plane manifold for use of nitrous. Also, has anyone used the Edelbrock nitrous yet?
Thanks!

Welcome to the Chevelle Tech. No problem using a spacer with NOS on a dual plane intake. Without one, I think most companies recommend not going over 150hp shot because of the divider getting in the way. I used to use an open 1" spacer with a 150hp super powershot kit and it worked just fine on an Edelbrock RPM small block intake.
Haven't used that kit but it looks like a quality package.

I use a 125 shot 1/2" NOS plate right on top of an Edelbrock Performer RPM dual plane. The fuel and NOS spray out at a 45 degree angle and will miss the plenum divider. I have also run the 125shot Q-jet plate on top of a stock GM cast iron intake on my 1986 Z-28 without any problems.
I never found any need for a spacer of any type.

Welcome Hot65. I've never run NO2 and prolly never will, but if you have a 6000 rpm mill you might actually feel MUCH better top end with the NO2 plate in there. For some reason a .500"-.750" space above the divided plenum really woke my mills up above 5000rpm w/o a loss of low end.

I ran a NOS cheater system on an original LT-l dual plane. Just put the plate between the carb and intake no spacer no problems.
