Well im putting the guts back into my door shells after shooting them with some epoxy and i found my driver side. inside door handle mechanism is busted. The spring broke inside. Im not exactly sure what the actual name is.. but i cant find one anywhere. I found a crappy used one on ebay but was real expensive. is this piece reproduded?

I think I saw them in a first generation Camaro catalog. Must be somewhat different but looked the same.
Post a wanted listing in our classifieds. Other than that, you may have to use a crappy one off ebay.

These things look the same from 58+
Give me a few minutes and I will be able to tell you if a 59 will work in a 67 door.
If the lever is not in the exact same place-----you could do what I did with my 59.
(BTW--reproduction does not have the greatest fit between the mechanism and the door release handle)
Used a length of bicycle brake/shifter cable to make the connection to the door latch.

the difference in these is the actuating lever.
(59 and 67 will bolt up---but the lever is in the wrong place.)
Might look into the rear doors of a 4-dr car or wagon---might be the same as the front.
If not---find one from a donor and use the cable instead of the rod.
(no rod rattles in the door that way)
