I really don't think GM had switched to Halogen for 1972, but, what DID they use? Did they have 7" T-3's??
Getting closer to needing to know..

I believe they were called Power Beams with a circle in the center instead of a triangle but I can't swear to it.

They were "Power Beams". If I am correct '71 was the last year for the T3's.

T-3's ended in 1970. 71-72 had Power Beams. Even my dad's old 78 GMC truck has the original Power Beams still in it :thumbsup:

'71 and '72 used "Power Beam" headlights ... these shouldn't be all that difficult to locate in a salvage yard as they were used on the very popular mid/late 70's Chevy/GMC trucks!
