L.I. John Nov 1st, 04, 5:38 PM I want to put the mufflers behind the collectors and put the exhaust out the sides. Problem is it seems if i put the mufflers there they wiil sit way low from the floor. Looks like they would bottom out if I hit a pebble. Anyone have pics or have this on their '69 Big Block? Parrydise7 Nov 1st, 04, 10:50 PM We wanted to try this on a small block 350. Discussed it with an ex-drag racer. You are correct about the problem. Not enough clearance because it will have to run under the frame. Instead, we are going to run a couple of Super Turbos that will end just after the rear axle. Gazzer Nov 2nd, 04, 9:29 AM I placed my Flowmasters in the normal spot and brought the pipes out just behind the rear wheels.
