Looking for source of supply for GM HEI distributor weight bushings. I finally found the courage to rip into the distributor and put in Crane adjustable vacuum advance kit and new springs and bushings. PROBLEM - the bushings that came with the Mallory curve weight set do not fit my GM weights. The Mallory bushings are too wide. THANKS for the help.

Try NAPA.

I've drilled out weights to fit the bushings that came with the kits. If you do this, drill them slightly undersized and polish them to fit the bushings. Otherwise you'll wear out your bushing too quickly.

I have been able to find the OEM HEI parts at NAPA. I think they were under Borg Warner, but it's been a couple of years. I had to get someone to research the books. It isn't in the computers.
