Do the laundry? I'm retired and the wife just wants me outside, or in the garage, out of her hair some times, doing what needs to be done out there. Between the cars, yard work and cottage, I'm busier than ever. I know she will let me back in because she is eyeing up painting the interior. Not looking forward to that one. Don't know how I ever had time to go to work. Now, there's an old line that is oh so true.

I get a hair cut (what's left of my hair) once every 12-18 months!
Since the wife works and I can't I do the laundry at lest 3 weeks out of each month! I just take it to the kids house instead of using the pay machines in the apt. building. that way I can putter around in the kids garage or on the ElCamino.
As far as wishing I had time to do something I normally wouldn't do, I have all the time in the world but due to health issues I can't even do what I normally used to do let alone something new!!!:(

Haircut? About once a month

Laundry? All the time being a single dad w/ 50% joint custody.

Wish I had time (money) to get a worth while bachelors degree. (not one of those at night marketing or business management B.S. degrees.)

Laundry, not too often. I shave my head once ever two weeks, and shave once a week. I do all the outside stuff she does all the inside stuff, cept when we are having company then I jump in head first with her to get the house sparkling clean. I make dinner about 1/3 the time. I wish I had more time to work on the Velle, but its running and painted, so not untill football season is over (high school varsity coach) will I jump in on the engine/tranny/rear end upgrades. Wish I had a little more time/money to go hunting and fishing more as well.

I don't remember the last haircut I had, It's been a few months for sure - luckily I get it cut short so it isn't looking TOO horrible for the moment. I help with laundry whenever the wife asks me, otherwise she does it. Time to do something else? Hmm, all the time, but this darn job always gets in the way.

Hair Cut= 2 years ago the day before I retired from the AF... I was actually accused of going "Hippy" by one of my car club members... :thumbsup:

Laundry= Not a chance... That is why I bought my wife new front loader machines...:D

Time= Only when my toddler daughter is asleep or Mama is home from work... Then I get time to cruise TC...

Camaro= In my dreams....

I shave my head about once a week...wife does laundry.....My wife too was spoiled as a child and doesn't know how too cook or clean...works out though. I like cooking and never minded cleaning although she will run vacuum on occassion...other than that, I do what ever I want, when I want, and how I want..as long as I have permmission first :D

P.S. I do all the house work as well. The wife (if you can call her that) is in basic training right now. ...Not that she was much help while she was here anyway. I hope she comes back a completely differant person than when she left.

Seb...yes they really are. I have to say that you know, after all (I'm still using this excuse) I'm on medication. :)

Usually every 6-8 weeks, depending on when the comments about the hair start.

Never. Avoided it for 33 years, now. Although I have to admit that I pushed the on button on the dryer once in awhile, when asked, as a show of support. :D

Been retired for nearly 7 years. Pretty much do what I want. I guess. Don't have alot of things on my "have to do someday" list. Pretty content at the moment. But do have 8 acres to mow and keep looking good. It's almost a full time job in Spring and early Summer.

Andy, I love the car and the wheels are definitely a nice choice. I was looking at that site last night and there is so much to choose from, it would be hard to pick. I think you nailed it though.

No. I hate wasting time. I'm going to paint the centers of the stock wheels black to match the car, then polish the outer edge. I'm going for a "Darth Vader" kinda vibe.

Definitely put some pix up when you get it done. I would love to see the car when you get it done. You aren't going to get all 'Uppity" on us now that you are a 'Vette owner are you?

I guess it's true what "they" say. You help those, you don't have much time for yourself. Just curious, is the Chevelle in more need of TLC than the Vette, or did you just want to get the Vette done and out of the way? I ask a lot of questions don't I?

No sweat. I don't mind. I got the 'Vette running and driving. Most of the important mechanicals were already replaced. I took it down the road and drove nice. The only thing it needs is a headlight assembly and the wipers fixed. It's already registered and insured.


..........Now the Chevelle on the other hand....

I've had to section the frame to replace the rotted parts, the entire shell is rotted beyond use. I'm re-skinning the ENTIRE car. just the substructure will remain of the original car. The engine is almost complete. It's a blown, injected, 496 on alcohol. The cage still has to go in, the interior still needs to be redone, the brakes suspension, everything needs attention. .....So the 'Vette is the daily driver when I'm not in the truck. :D

I don't blame you for finishing the 'Vette then. :)

Sounds like the Chevelle is going to be a monster. You going to strictly drag race that car or making it a ProStreeter?
