Hi,
I don't have a garage right now to put my Chevelle in. The wind keeps on blowing the car cover off. What can I use to put my car in or under? Some type of carport? I need something that can hold up pretty well to strong winds.
Thanks,
Ethan

seen lots of people hold down covers or tarps with milk jugs filled with water.

I recently built a 2x2 inch box-framed carport on the side of my house for $500 materials. Do you have a house? If so, build a carport on the side of it. If your're in an apartment complex with no garage, you should just get a good car cover and tie it down in the center.

want a cheap fix? use a bunjee cord or two under the body of the car to hold the cover down. i use one and put my wiped cam on the back of the hood to hold that portion down lol.

build yourself a little shed just big enough to cover it but solid enough to withstand the wood, it might cost a bit, but if you make it big enough you could use it to park in when the project is done for a long time

If you're gonna use a cover in windy conditions make sure than it's got a soft lining. My brother in-law left his 69 Camaro out for less than a month with a cheapie cover on it. When he uncovered it the paint was gone on all the creases of the body.
