Does anyone have any info on this new muffler? It was in the May issue of CHP on page 131. It says that its for high horsepower engines so on so forth. Im thinking about buying two of them to swap out for my hooker maximum flows (sounds like glasspacks), thanks in advance-

Arethey the stainless ones? If they are the only diff. I think is that they are ss. I had 40's now I am using hook aero chamber. They are as loud as the flowmasters, but have a diff. tone. I am growing to like them. The reason I got the hooks at the time was because I needed muffs, the shop was out, they had hooks, they were ss, so I got them, and now I kinda like them.

I just had a pair of the Super 40's installed on my car.
The best way I can describe them is that they have classic Flowmaster sound at the tailpipe, but just a little deeper tone. The big difference is inside the car.....no resonance or annoying buzzing. You can actually carry on a conversation in the car without shouting.
When accelerating, they sound great! People notice the deep sound just driving around town and want to know what kind of mufflers they are.
My neighbor has regular Flow 40's on his Mustang and you can tell the difference in tone. He is going to change his over to Super 40's after hearing the sound difference. :D
I got them from Summit....2.5 inch dual offset.
Oh, and one more thing. They're black instead of silver.
