Does anyone else see anything wrong with the cowl tag date and sequence number for a Baltimore built car?

All I see is a body date of 05A. I don't see a VIN sequence anywhere. The number on the body plate, 147642, is not a sequence number - in fact, it isn't even the body number found in block #8 on a Baltimore car but rather a data processing number found in block #24 and that is nowhere near sequential. "B 147642 Baltimore plant and body sequence number." Wrong. :noway:

Did I miss the VIN sequence number listed somewhere?

Obviously seller doesn't know or doesn't want a buyer to know about A.I.R. equipment or the claim of "Everything down to the smallest part is done as original" wouldn't be stated. Quite a few things not correct for a $100,000 restoration investment.

Appraised by Camaro Specialty Appraisal Service of New York at $150,000.
Interesting, IIRC this car was sold on ebay by Camaro Specialties a few years ago, same color combination, possibly the same car restored. Very sharp car.

Nice looking car but missing some easy details in the resto. 4 silver circles in the dash, repro tach?, shifter, steering wheel silver, no smog, just a few of the obvious. The distributor date seems miles off, Jan 69 date on a late 70 build? Would need to see a lot more date codes on other important stuff as well.

I asked the seller what the VIN is on the car and got no response.

It does have a side terminal battery, though.
The dist. is a restamp if that is the date. I don't see a correct alternator pulley and fan, no smog, no TCS, no no no no no...... If someone spent a hundred grand with me restoring a car, it'd have ALL the correct parts on it when I was done, that is for sure.
I can't tell if the car has a vinyl top?? should be two-tone paint.
No build sheet....very skeptical.
