I can't figure out how to find an older post of mine. I can only go back 200 posts and that's it? :confused:

Dave there must be a 200 maximum number,, go here http://www.chevelles.com/forums/view.php?pg=home and look up top to subscribed threads just under your total post count and click that..... let me know if you get it

I think if you do a search with a specific word from that post, it will go back further than 200 posts (I think). You then just have to find your post among them.

Or you can search by forum; bench racing, restoration corner, etc...

Also try the advanced search. Enter your username and then a date > older than 1 year and that should move you further back. Combine this with the "by forum" mentioned above and you should be able to find most of them.

With so many posts now we need to cap the return results or the server runs out of breath trying to deliver 1500 search results for "disc brakes" when only one page of results is usually needed.

Al's suggestion worked. I still didn't find the post I'm looking for. :confused: Maybe I dreamed it. But at least I know how to look now. :thumbsup:
