I need to buy a fuel pump rod for my BB I am building. I will be running a mec roller. I have seen somewhere that Comp Cams makes a roller tip rod. There is also the light weight rods out there. What has been run on a mec roller and what would work best?

I bought mine at a local parts store, they had to order it. Mine is a Moroso rod. It was around $20. If you don't run the bronze tip, you will tear up your fuel pump eccentric on the cam. :eek:

Sorry, I should say if you have a billet roller cam, you need the bronze tipped push rod. If you have a cast roller, such as a Comp Cams, Magnum or Extreme Energy mechanical roller cams, they don't need the bronze tip on either the fuel pump or distributor. I hope this helps.
