I have a 67 chevelle bbc trying to put it back together I purchased all new brackets for ps and alt and correct belts. Alt worked out fine but have no adjustment on ps pump hits alt. This is also remote res. type. Can anyone help?

I had the same problem on my 66 I went to the parts store four times with about 20 different belts for me a 51" belt worked for the power steering

If you need more adjustment you can use a longer stud from the block and add a spacer (maybe a small nut or something). That moves the adjuster away from the block to give you some adjustment. As long as the hose length allows it.

That's what I did to give me a little room

The suggestions given so far are very good. With the advice of the guy I bought my BB power steering set up from, what I did was enlarge the holes of the main cradle bracket which holds the PS pump. If you ream them out about 1/4" each. you can shift the bracket away from the alternator. It made a world of difference in my case.

BTW, I used a 51.2" belt for the PS pump.

My PS belt is 50 inches

My PS belt is 48.5. Sorry I don't have a part number right now. I'm at work
