I love this kind of stuff. In all the years I've been into '65s I've never even seen a complete dealer book. When this one popped up on ebay while I was casually surfing it I just couldn't resist. The book is entirely complete and in pretty decent shape. I paid too much for it, but sometimes you just have to spoil yourself. Happy (early) Christmas to me!

And but of course we know what the most important section in the book is!

And within that section we know which segment is at the top of the list to view!

If you had passed it up, might have been years before you found another, really a cool find.

Nice grab.
I picked one up on ebay last year.....complete. Mine has the cover
taped a little, but interior and paint samples are all there.
Yours looks to be in great shape.
I had been looking forever for one of these.
Considering the prices I've seen these at, I got it at a bargain.
I had to get one as my cars Sierra Tan convertible sister in in it :)
Enjoy.

Hi Rich,
Nice find. If you see one on ebay for a 64, please let me know.

The same guy has a '64 Engineering Features book for sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1964-CHEVROLET-ENGINEERING-FEATURES-DEALER-ALBUM_W0QQitemZ370100774100QQcmdZViewItem?hash=ite m370100774100&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A727%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C2 40%3A1318

He also has a '66 dealer book: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1966-CHEVROLET-DEALER-SHOWROOM-ALBUM-ORIGINAL-NICE_W0QQitemZ370101211416QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item 370101211416&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A727%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C2 40%3A1318

And a '67 dealer book: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-CHEVROLET-DEALER-SHOWROOM-ALBUM-ORIGINAL-NICE_W0QQitemZ370101210753QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item 370101210753&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A727%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C2 40%3A1318

The book I got is complete with additional inserts that provide updates (like the L79) and corrections. Pretty interesting.

I imagine you paid about $300 give or take a hundred..........

Hey, what are those two little dashes or vents just in front of the rear wheels on that Orchid car? is that a prototype car?

You'll see that in all pre-production pictures of the '65 SS. They even assigned them a part number but they were never installed on a production car. The addendum pages at the front of the book even note that they were deleted for production.

Merry early Christmas. I have a 70 sales album and they are pretty neat to look at. I saw a 70 sales album sell at Barrett Jackson in Las Vegas last weekend for $1100:eek:
