I'm looking for info. pics on how to install a pin on hood for a 70 chevlle. what is the best/safe way to mount :confused:

I've seen guys at shows use plain old clip style hood pins and sleeve them with rubber fuel line and trim the 2-4" line pieces until the hood lined up. the pin would fit through the hole in the hood, but the hose wouldn't so the hood actually rested on the hose. Savvy?
