I'm restoring my 72 Chevelle, And even though it's a # matching car she gonna be a bit of a restomod. I'm updating alot of stuff, sup, horse power, AC, sound system. One of the things i'm doing is a custom dash. I'm keeping the old SS dash intact. And i just got a sweep dash with harness. That i'll be cutting up. I'm gonna be using old Sun Blue line guages in the dash.and i'm making a loom/harness for the guages.

This will be my gas pedal:D

I put a Covans dash in my 69 and had good luck with the painless harness I installed. (I am not a wiring expert) Are the gauges electric? I used all electric autometer gauges and made my own gauge harness that hooked into my painless harness nicely. Alot of people complain about Painless, but I liked mine. I think you have to be sure to buy the better one thats made for chevelles.

As for now, Light switch, wipers, I heard some aftermarket AC units Vintage air, Classis auto air) hook up to the old switch panel. But i need to look into that.
