Hi guys.
From your experience, when is the best time to go (least amount of congestion, so I can get several runs in)?
2ndly, whats the best way to launch a stick car?
I've got BFG radial T/A - I know there not ideal but thats all I got. Maybe some pressure adjustments?
Thanks.

I like to go as soon as they open at 6 pm so I don't have to fight everyone else to run as it starts getting more congested towards 8 pm.
I've never launched a stick shift car so I can't say. Maybe keep the rpms like at 2000 and keep the clutch just before grabbing point and then let off right as the last yellow comes on? Only trial and error will tell.
I'd try 20 psi in the tires and go lower from there if needed.

With a stick and BFG (street) radials, about all I could do to get off the line was to roll into the throttle.
Heck on those tires (275-60-15) I've spun the tires on the 2-3 shift.
Letting the air down to 20 P.S.I. helped.
With a 106 mph trap speed, people have told me I should be running high 12s,
but I haven't gone quicker than a 13.50 yet.

It will be tough on T/As.
don't spin them excessivly to warm them
don't use the water box.
run them at about 19psi or so.
don't leave the line over 2000 rpm.
dont drop the clutch, just kind of let it out fast
at the same time giving it the gas.
Drag racing at Chevellabration in Nashville this summer, I had my car rear end slide out sideways on the 2-3 shift with BFG T/As.
Your going to spin.
Couldn't get better than an 8.7 in the 1/8th.
