Hi,

I have a 350 in my 67 Chevelle. It has high performance aluminum heads with plugs that angle down.

My problem I have is my stock exhaust manifold touches one of the plugs. In the history of the 350 engine was that specific year or years that the engine had plugs on a down angle? I have heard that some later model Camero's had heads like this and possibly different exhaust manifold.

Any leads will be appreciated or ideas would be appreciated.

I just dealt with this on a friend's truck with angle plugs and manifolds. Get the Accel shorty spark plugs and they will clear the manifold enough so the plug boots don't burn.
