I was looking for some help with an Edelbrock 1406 carb on my Beaumont and came across this site, which is kind of unusual as most people don't know what a Beaumont is.We have one we purchased in April of 1968 and if the photo doesn't show up,maybe someone can tell me how to put up.Thanks.

Welcome to Team Chevelle :waving: You have found the best site on the net for anything Chevelle or Beaumont!

I don't see a photo. Best bet is to open a free account on photobucket or a similar site, upload your photo there, and then post a link to it here.

Then post your carb question in the Engine forum, those guys know those carbs!

Thanks for the help everyone and I'll try that photo again.....Wayne
Hey it worked.Thanks.
This is our '67 that we bought here in Victoria in April of 1968 from original owner.Vehicle was originally Butternut Yellow but we didn't like it and never drove it yellow.Had it painted a green. It's a Custom with a Sport Deluxe package that was available up til December of '66 then you either ordered a Custom or a big block Sport Deluxe. This Beaumont is a 327 4 speed.

Welcome Barney! In your picture I see one of those early '67 Sport Deluxe coupes, actually it must be one of the last small block Sport Deluxes. I can see why you've kept it all those years! I know of 2 other original owner 1967 Beaumont Sport Deluxes. One is in Ontario, the other in B.C (both are 396s). I also met a girl with a '67 that she too bought in '68. That one has factory power windows.
I've had my Oshawa-built Chevelle for 23 years, although nobody has seen it on the road in a while.

So I betting that it came with a 12-bolt 3.07:1 rear end with that 327 4-speed combination. Did it come with power steering? Power brakes? Disk brakes? How about the original tires, were they 7.75s or redline F70s?

Stick around on this site. The atmosphere here is generally very good all around. People are very helpful and have big hearts.

Hi Cameron. It was one of the last, delivered in Nov.of 1966.The young fella we bought it from ordered a new Z28 Camaro. If I had ordered it,I would have had a few options,it was a pretty barebones car.
It's a 10 bolt non posi.I took the car all apart about 4 years ago and everything on the front end that came off,I had it all blasted and powdercoated black.Put new Moog suspension parts and pieces, added power brakes, steering and had the motor rebuilt. No disc brakes, big blocks had 'em.New base clear paint in a '97 Blazer green. The vinyl top is new but the interior is all original, even the carpet.Yes,it had F70 redlines, one original still in trunk as spare. The wheels are new,it had just full hubcaps. The windshield washer work great but the clock doesn't.What's new.
