i saw these online and was wondering if they sounded good or not. i heard there was alot of issues with the Custom Autosound units.

Underpowered and cheap sounding to me.

I agree with the under powered, I was going to sell it However I hooked up an amplifier to it and it does the job. I am happy with it. Easy install and fits in the slot provided on the dash.
Jegs has it for 249 i think.

Sounds fine...better then anything that originally came in these cars.
Not a booming ghetto blaster, but then that's not what I want in my '68 either.
For cruising in my Chevelle (when I'm done with it) I have period music "from the day" loaded up on a memory stick that can be played through the USB port on the front of this player.
