We just finished a forum upgrade and there is one issue that affects some accounts.
IF your username and password were the same, you will be asked to change the password.
WHY?
Basically, spammers could go through the list guessing at those who used the same password as their username and then logging in and posting spam or abusing that account.
This HAS NOT happened here yet but it has to other sites using this software.
If you want to change your password, login at the following location:
http://www.chevelles.com/forums/profile.php?do=editpassword
Any problems or questions/suspicions just email am@chevelles.com and we will personally assist you.
We will be force changing these passwords in several days. This is a chance for you to change it ahead of time to avoid the "what the heck" hassle.
Thanks
