: THROTTLE CABLE AND BRACKET HELP

I have a 70 chevelle that had a sb in it ,i put a bb in and a aftermarket intake (victor jr)
there is a stock cable that is old and needs to be replace , i tryed to line up the cable to check for lenght and it looks like it will be short .i have a adj. bracket that i got from summit($15.00) will i need a cable from a chevelle that can with a bb? i want to use stock cables to help the look and cost . right now i have a 850 dp, th400 if this helpyou guys any
any info.or pics will help

I'm using a Lokar cable,infinately adjustable and a Holley throttle cable bracket on my 950HP...set me back about 100.00 for both. I think you can get a CSI bracket a little cheaper and a new throttle cable at your local Chevy parts counter. I've tried one of the chrome adjustable cheapies and they are just too flexible when you put the foot down :D
