This may be redundant. I recently put T/A rear rotors and Cadillac calipers with a bracket I bought on ebay. Everything works but I cant figure out how to put e brake together. It stops awsome. I need to register the car In california but it must pass a brake lamp inspection before I can finish the registration prosess. Monterey county seems as if they still drive around on horse and buggy because I cant find someone with answers to my problem ( and or paint worth a crap). Can someone guide me in the right direction with possible parts neede or a dealer with the right stuff please. Its a 67 with 12 bolt. Thanks guys

I cant wait to drive my car around legally. Sneeking around the block a few times is stressfull.

Pete Lohr has built a parking brake that goes on the pinion u-joint flange .Search this site for threads and photos. Pete is the moderator of the station wagon forum.

find a junkyard and see how the TA/Cadillac e brake setup goes together, and then get the appropriate parts to put it all together.

Do you have the parking brake brackets and arms? I have the T/A setup on my Firebird. I could go pull off a wheel in the morning, snap a picture for you. I was thinking of trying to fit some old slot mags I have to the car anyway.

Here's the passenger side. The cable comes up from the rear.

BTW, did you remember to put longer studs on your axles? I didn't have much to work with with the stock studs, just bought some for the stock T/A disc application, put 'em in.

Thanks for the pics. I am going into the gerage with a flash light. The studs didnt pose a problem. the wheels seemed to remidy that. It seems on
the roller wheels the studs are short.
