as for venting the battery,is it okay just to cut a small round hole in the side of the battery box and attach a length of clear soft plastic tubing through the opening? also,do most racers cut a small hole in the trunk floor to run the tubing through? thanks, i guess its getting time to order a nhra rulebook. :rolleyes:

In my old Camaro I used screw in type valve stems for the vent tubes(valves removed of course),then connected the two with black rubber hose. Yes I had to drill a hole in the trunk floor.
