BigRat09 Oct 18th, 08, 6:00 PM Here are some pics of my wheels. Rearend isn't in the car yet and it's sitting on jack stands. Just propped them up to see how they look.
They are Foose Monterey's 18 x 10 and 18 x 8's with Nitto 555 245 and 295's

thunderstruck507 Oct 18th, 08, 9:02 PM those look pretty nice, congrats!
Derek69SS Oct 18th, 08, 10:15 PM They look very cool
Are you running a custom-width rear axle, or is that 4.5 B.S. a typo? 10" wheel with 4.5" B.S. won't work very well with a stock axle. :o
ss396boy Oct 19th, 08, 12:38 AM I like the "made in Mexico" box.... haahahaha
Rims and tires look awesome.... damn now why can't I decide on what rims to put on the Elky.....
cs40racing Oct 20th, 08, 12:38 AM Those look cool, give the car a "hotwheels" toy kinda look, nice...

Yes, the rearend is a Strange S60 and it has been shortened 3" to gain an 1.5" on each end, still have 1/2" space to the fender, and 3/4" space to the frame. Shoud tuck real nice.

Damn, you guys don't miss anything. I never noticed that... it's the box for my Tremec 5 speed. Didn't think it was made in Mexico.
quijote Oct 20th, 08, 8:11 PM There was a chapter from overhaulin with two cars for two sisters.
one of them was a Chevelle Malibu 68 and it used Foose Monterrey wheels.
I remember they looked just great, so much that i thought that maybe i'll buy that tires too.
Do you have a picture just from the side, no angles ?
Thx !

The wheels and backspacing had me scared for a minute. Glad you have the custom rearend!

Yeah... it will probably sit under there for another 8 months. Gotta save up for a motor to attach it to. ;)

Sorry to hear about your Job... Not to get political here, but a certain candidate wants to redistribute the wealth by overtaxing the rich and corporate America.
How many more jobs will go overseas to avoid these taxes???
Anyway, sorry to hear about your job, hope you find somethin' soon.
