Hi guys looking for some help here. I have a 66 chevelle malibu with a 350 summit motor that is supposed to be rated at 360hp and the compression ratio is either 9.2 or 9.5 to 1 according to the guy at summit who says that is what he recalls there 360hp motors being. (they do not build them anymore and the motor was put in in 2000 by a previous owner) Anyway, I am wondering if I can run a blower on this motor or if I should go with a turbo charger instead because of the high compression ratio for a Blower.

I think an turbo system will knock your engine apart too. And its expensive building.
Consider an vortech kit with their universial carb box.

A centrifugal will work fine with 9 to 9.5:1 compression with modest boost. A turbo wants lower compression than a centrifugal blower.
