I'm installing an aftermarket SS dash and gauges to replace the malibu dash.So far everything is going fine but I've read that aftermarket amp gauges may not read right and fix is to switch the number 3 and 4 terminals on the 12 point plug.My question is if I have to switch them how do I switch them. They seem very tight in the plug.Do Just pull on them until they come out.So far with the help of all the people on this board I haven't ruined they yet so any advice is welcomed.
Thanks.

The cluster connector has BOW terminals on the wire ends. They have a tab that holds them into the connector. Using a small screwdriver, a heavy paperclip or something similar, push it down the inside of the terminal to bend the tab to release it. The tab needs to be bent back out so it will hold the terminal when reinstalled.
