Hello. Im trying to find a 1 1/8th (28.5mm) sway bar or something prettty close for my 70 Chevelle. I need an original one.. Anybody know what car I can get one off of that will fit my Chevelle?

Can remember if they came with an 1 1/8" bar or a 1 1/16" but a 2nd gen Z28 or Trans Am front sway bar will work.

What about an 1 1/2 sway bar? Anything made that will fit a 70 Chevelle with a 1 1/2 sway bar? If not whats the closest I can get?

My Sway Bar is a 1-1/8 off of a '79 Z28. I think Trans Ams had 1-1/4 bars.

Side note: I paid $13.00 for mine at Pull-a-part.

I bought new bushings at Auto Zone and used my old brackets.

I just went to a junk yard.. all the bars I seen on the trans ams were 1 - 1 1/16th inch...
