Anyone like these. I was thinking about these, on a 496BBC. graemlins/beers.gif

I run them, still "as cast" with no bowl cleanup, pocket port, or CNC machining.

Do I like them ?? Kind of a loaded question, I have never run any other head in a direct comparison, but I can say that I am 0.1 away from my ET Goal with my purpose built combination. The combo is about halfway through my tuning process to be continued next season. Nice ports with no real dingleberries and everything lines up perfect...I definetly like the price they are considering what you get.

I run a set on a 468" BBC, 13.5:1, Edelbrock 454R, Pro-Systems Dominator, 4.56 gear, TH400, etc. Mine were fully ported by CFM Performance, and flow 390CFM @ .800 lift, with unbelievable mid-lift flow. Couldn't be happier, running mid 9's at just over 135. E-mail me if you want more info.

I also run these heads, have been for four years now. Mine have minor port work (about 1" into the runners), no chamber work. 119cc with a .250 dome piston that has been fly cut for 10.3:1 compression ratio. Performance in signature. I'm pretty happy with them :D

I have a set of them also. The only thing I would do if I buy another set is spring the extra $ for the CNC chamber option. Then it may be a little easier to balance the chamber cc's. Other than that, I really like 'em especially for the price.

I also replaced a set of fully ported ZL-1 heads with some Canfield 310's, fully ported by CFM Performance (his personal set of heads off his Camaro). I picked up 78 rwhp (naturally aspirated) with no other changes. Ended up with over 800 rwhp with a ProCharger and 11 psi of boost. They worked very well for me.
