Charles 427L88 Feb 9th, 04, 10:15 PM If it's going to end up at 10.25:1, the XS268 is too small, the dynamic compression will be near 8.5...too much with iron heads....you'll have to move up to the XS274S Charles' recommendation of the Lunati sporting 280/288 seat duration gives you 8.0:1 SPOT ON! I've driven a 396 with that cam and 3.73s. Pulls hard. Using the Lunati 402A2 solid, gives you 8.3:1 dynamic. Close to max with pump fuel. If you use the small solids, you'd want CR down to 10.1, while the hydraulic mentioned would like 10.25 fine. | ||
