I was wondering if anyone would know anything about the problem im having. Just rebuilt the tranny before this year. Used a TCI rebuild kit and installed a Reverse manual valve body. Also got a 10" TCI Street Fighter Converter. Anyway i went to the track last wed for grudge night to test it out. On the burnouts i have it in high, when coming out of the water and the car starts to hook the motor gets bogged down. It never did that with the old converter. The 60ft dropped from low 1.6s last year to mid 1.7s. The car ran a 11.66@118 with a 1.723 60ft on wed. Then at on Sat, it bogged on the burnout again. Then the car had a 1.753 60ft, and the car wouldnt run. Was real sluggish and the RPMS came up slow, short shifted at 5000 and the car ran 13.37@100. The motor sounds fine. I was wondering if anyone might know whats going on with this thing. Did i get a junk converter or would it be something else?
