Where can I pick up a new column shifter (gear selector lever for auto trans that is on the steering column) for my 69 Chevelle? I've lookied everywhere. Thanks, Brawley

Georgia69 Oct 13th, 08, 4:36 PM New ones aren't available. You'll have to buy a used one. Don't be surprised if you have to buy a complete, used steering column to get the shifter and linkage. I am not sure if, I just need to remove the linkage and cover with plate or get another steering colum without the linkage. I going to do some research, but I may have what you are looking for. bman4261 Oct 13th, 08, 5:09 PM John, My car was a column shift from the factory, and the last owner jerryrigged a B&M shifter on the floor and mated it to the TH350 by cutting a hole in the carpet and the trans tunnel.
