I am looking for, and trying to explain how the C-Clip Eliminators work on a 12 bolt rearend. Does anyone have any pics of one or a good explanation? Thanks,

I have them on my 12 bolt. I plan to pull a wheel tomorrow and I will take a pic and describe tomorrow. I started to tell you how but having trouble remembering. I did it but its been a lot of years and need to refresh.

I wish I had some pics of mine to show you, they're soaked in gear oil, just like my rear brakes. :mad:

i think they ar made like the ford rear ends it has a axel plate and apressed on bearing to hold axels in

Basically to install them you must remove about .100 from the end of the axle tube remove the seal and bearing and then the eliminator bolts on with longer hardware that hold the backing plate on (after being pressed on axle). You have to be careful which ones you buy some can be used with stock axels and some are specific for drag race applications and shouldnt be used on the street. Just a thought.

Here's a tip: if you plan on doing alot of street drivng, and haven't bought them yet, don't! Do yourself a favor and have the Ford bearing assembly installed.

I've got the Moser eliminators on mine, but I don't do much street driving, just to the track and back. They're about 10 years old and haven't leaked yet.
