"From within the engine compartment, you should now tighten the two cross-shaft nuts. It would be easy to walk away once the car is back on the ground, but you would earn instant "jerk" status if you leave these loose! You want to do this when the car is on it's wheels so that you don't "preload" the bushings with a twist."
I dont remember is if i did this years ago before my chevelle sat in storage for 13 years... I may have tightened the crosshafts before sitting the car down. Its been a while since I turned a wrench... Could I back these off now that the car is sitting and re-tighten them to see if my front end comes down? Its way way up in the air up front. i'm about to install the Eibach/billstein combo highly recommended from many on this site and i'm wondering if i should do this before or after?
Pic of front isnt that great but you'll see what i mean.
