Can someone please tell me the best place to place my jack stand under the front of my '68?
Should I place it under the frame behind the front wheel, or can I put it directly under the front shock absorber?
Thanks.

I suggest something solid like the frame.

IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITH THE CAR. I see you have corvairs Need parts I have two corvair in my field for parts. Really now . It really needs to be under the frame as stated

Thanks. That seems to be the consensus, so I'll make sure that's where they're at.

the factory engineered lift points for the cars are the "4 corners" of the frame- right in front of the rear wheels, and right behind the front wheels.

No. I had a Corvair. If you look at my signature again, you'll see the Corvair is listed under past cars.
I had a 1962 Corvair Monza.

Thanks Derrick, that's precisely what I needed to know.
