Went to the track Saturday, weather sucked, the conditions would have put me about 2 tenths slower. I was looking for 12.47's, ran a 12.52 so that was OK. Lost in the first round of eliminations :( What a loser. Cut a .090 light but it wasn't good enough. Also noticed when I was changing my tires back over to drive it home that the driver side Hoosier had spun about 2" on the rim. Never had that happen before and it wasn't like that when I put them on when I got there. Hard to believe 2 time shots and one run did that, but the marks don't line up anymore. Some one in the stands said it looked like I rolled the tires over on the launch. "Rolled the tires"???? Who am I, John Force?? Oh well, at least nothing broke and I drove it home again.

When I had Hoosiers they moved on me too...the drag radials didnt move at all...the M/T's moved a little then quit...no screws...I went to the quarter finals today, won 50.00...ran 9.99-10.15 on the 1000ft track.

Hey Bob, I am considering the drag radials because I want a taller tire. Looking at a 275-60-15. It's tough finding someone with a stick shift that runs them though. So I don't know if they will work for me. Maybe I can find a used set to try.
Congrats on the 1/4 finals and the $payback.

What size Hoosiers? I had 28x9x15's...consistent 1.66-1.69 60ft times, just real soft and didnt last long, but havent been able to duplicate those 60's with the 28x10.5x15 M/T's...and only one time with the drag radials before they went away.

Jim, since you swapping them at the track, why not use a QT Pro tire, in 28" dia. by 10.5 tread width.

Thought about that, but if I had a drag radial, I could drive to the track with them. I don't know, I am sure the QT pros will hook pretty good though. decisions, decisions,......

ethier way i wouldnt drive to the track with the race tires, you'll tear up your expensive tires.

I used to drive to the track with 235/60/15 drag radials..but not with the new Hoosier QT DOT Pro's..I swap them out when I get there.
