rick it looks pretty good to me should be alot of fun to drive .one change ,electronic ignition would be alot better and less mantiance

Is the rotating assembly balanced? The points distributor will do alright but just requires more maintanence. Years ago I spent some time on a distributor machine trying different point sets etc. and found if I placed a small section of windshield washer/vacume hose behind the point arm it would eliminate bounce up to 8500rpm with the stock style points :D

I agree, right after I got my new engine together the points were being really fussy. This summer I'm giong to put some electronic igntion in it, It should be much better.

Depending on the deck height and gasket thickness, your compression could be up around 11-1. You might find that cam a little small and the cranking compression pretty high.

What happened to the whole sleeper image? Not happy with your previous setup? Weren't you running 487's? I see you went to the "dark side" and put headers on also. How did you adapt to the change? tongue.gif :D Post back how the engine's coming together.

Defenitly a fun combo. but I agree with Travis,ditch the cam and P/U somthing in the 294 range.If your around 11:1 as I am, you'll need the long duration for bleed off graemlins/thumbsup.gif
