Hello all,

I posted an intro message in the WIW forum last week regarding a Chevelle I was considering for purchase. I'm trying to locate good sources for locating a car for purchase. I've shopped Ebay, classic car trader, the free classifieds on this site, and two local muscle car dealers. I haven't come across the car I'm looking for yet and most of the cars I've seen from these sources aren't what I'm gathering from this site to be good values for the condition.

To help narrow things a bit, what I'm looking for is a nice 68-72 (prefer 68-69) driver. Prefer a manual transmission car. Don't mind doing mechanical or interior work, but not a bodyman so like most I'm looking for a solid body.

I appreciate the info I've gathered from this site and look forward to joining the group soon.

John

www.hemmings.com www.dealsonwheels.com www.crazedlist.org (Can't use Internet Explorer for that one)

The other thing to do is place a WANTED ad in the free classifieds here for what you want. Wanted ads, just like for sale ads are not permitted in the forums.
Welcome to TC. :)

I think this site is great, thanks for the lead.

I did try craigslist as well, I forgot to mention that. However, I did it a bit different and maybe that was my flaw. I tried a google search for "chevelle and craigslist". I got a few hits but not much.

I appreciate the guidance! This site is fantastic. :beers:
