6 months ago I stripped the Chevelle down to freshen it up. All original. My father was the original owner. Been in the family ever since. Front clip is off. Body lifted. I have been buying new parts the last few years to do this project. 6 months ago I was doing real good. Lots of O. T. and nothing to worry about. NOW.... down to 4 days a week just getting buy. Problem is I still need to buy some parts to finish the car and am worried may have to sell it. Whats best to do. Sell the parts or finish the car whenever I can and sell it. Its a beautiful car but dont have the cash now to finish and if the job goes I'm on the street!!!!
VOTE THIS YEAR!!!!!!!

Jan, the best thing to do if you absolutely don't have to sell is sideline it for a while. Work with the parts you have now and revisit the need to buy others when the money is there again. It would be a shame to sell your old man's car if you didn't have to. I've been dealing with the same thing for the last four year's on mine, because the family comes first. If you did need to sell, chances are it's more valuable sold as pieces.

Stick it in the garage and forget about it for a while. Concentrate on getting back on track.

 It wont cost you much if any thing to let it set. I let one go a few years ago and now I wish I would have just let it set.
