guys i found a 427 block crank rods and pistons but I can't find if it is a high deck or standard the no. is 364776 68to 85 4 bolt. would this eng. be a good hot street motor I have a set of 049 heads to put on it and it will be going in a 67 chevelle thanks Jim

It is a tall deck block. I'll let those with experience in fitment for your '67 chime in here. I know it varies a lot depending on configuration. The 049 heads are very good flowing open chamber heads. Big valves and some bowl work and they'll wake right up. HTH
